How to Use the Deep Voice Test
For the most useful result, use the test in a quiet room and speak at your normal volume.

- Keep your volume and speaking style reasonably steady.

Lowest Stable Hz shows the lowest frequency that the detector considered stable during your speech sample.

Does a Low Hz Result Mean You Have a Deep Voice?

Use the same microphone and similar testing conditions when comparing results over time.

Do Not Force Your Voice Lower
Trying to produce the lowest possible sound is not the purpose of this test.
Forcing the larynx downward, pressing the throat, speaking with excessive tension, or repeatedly attempting an unnaturally low pitch may produce a result that does not represent your normal voice. It may also make speaking uncomfortable.
