This page explains privacy rights that may apply to users of VoiceFrequencyTest.com under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, and applicable California privacy laws, including the CCPA/CPRA.
These rights depend on your location, the type of information involved, and whether the relevant law applies to VoiceFrequencyTest.com’s processing in your particular circumstances.
For a complete overview of our data practices, see the Privacy Policy.
Current Privacy Setup at a Glance
VoiceFrequencyTest.com currently operates with the following data practices:
- raw microphone audio is processed locally in your browser or on your device
- raw microphone audio is not uploaded to our server for server-side voice analysis
- some derived results, such as frequency, pitch, range, or tone-related outputs, may be sent temporarily to our own server
- derived tool results sent to our server are deleted immediately after use
- Google Analytics is not currently active
- Google AdSense and other advertising systems are not currently active
- VoiceFrequencyTest.com is hosted by Hostinger
- direct email is used for contact
For more technical detail, see Data Security and How It Works.
GDPR and UK GDPR Rights
Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or related data-protection law applies, you may have rights regarding personal information we process.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include the right to:
- request access to personal information
- request correction of inaccurate information
- request deletion of information
- request restriction of certain processing
- object to certain processing
- receive portable data where applicable
- withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis
- complain to an appropriate supervisory authority
These rights are not always absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions.
Lawful Bases for Processing
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the lawful basis depends on the specific processing activity.
Depending on the circumstances, processing may rely on:
Legitimate Interests
This may apply to activities reasonably necessary to:
- operate and maintain the website
- diagnose technical problems
- protect the site from abuse
- maintain security
- respond to ordinary user communications
Where legitimate interests are relied on, those interests should be considered against the rights and interests of users.
Steps Requested by the User
If you contact us asking a question, requesting help, or asking us to take a particular action, some processing may be necessary to respond to that request.
Legal Obligations
Information may be processed where necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements.
Consent
Where a specific optional processing activity legally requires consent, consent may be used as the lawful basis.
A browser microphone permission should not be confused with generalized GDPR consent. The browser permission is a technical mechanism that allows a website to access microphone input. The legal basis for any related personal-data processing depends on the particular processing activity.
Raw Microphone Audio
VoiceFrequencyTest.com does not receive or retain the raw microphone audio used for normal browser-based analysis.
Microphone-based tools analyze incoming sound locally on your device.
This means that raw microphone audio is generally not available to us later in response to an access or deletion request because it was not uploaded to our server in the first place.
Temporary Derived Tool Results
Some tools generate derived outputs from locally analyzed microphone data.
These may include:
- frequency in Hz
- estimated pitch
- musical-note information
- vocal-range measurements
- tone-related outputs
- other calculated voice-analysis results
Some derived results may be transmitted temporarily to VoiceFrequencyTest.com’s own server.
They are deleted immediately after use.
Because these temporary results are not intentionally retained, there may be no stored result available to retrieve, correct, or delete when a later privacy request is submitted.
Other Information We May Process
Depending on how you use the site, we may process additional categories of information.
Standard Technical Data
Our hosting infrastructure may process information such as:
- IP address
- browser or device information
- requested page or resource
- date and time of the request
- diagnostic, server, or security logs
VoiceFrequencyTest.com is hosted by Hostinger.
Email Correspondence
If you email contact@voicefrequencytest.com, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.
This may include your email address, name if provided, message content, and technical details or screenshots you voluntarily send.
Data Retention
Different information is handled differently.
| Category | Current Handling |
|---|---|
| Raw microphone audio | Processed locally and not uploaded for server-side analysis |
| Derived tool results | May reach our server temporarily and are deleted immediately after use |
| Server/hosting data | May be retained according to operational, security, diagnostic, and hosting requirements |
| Email correspondence | May be retained as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve issues, or meet legal obligations |
We avoid publishing fixed retention periods where the actual period depends on infrastructure, legal requirements, or operational circumstances.
Automated Tool Outputs
VoiceFrequencyTest.com uses automated calculations and analysis to generate tool results.
For example, a tool may automatically estimate:
- frequency
- pitch
- range
- tone-related characteristics
- speaking rate
These outputs are informational.
They are not used by VoiceFrequencyTest.com to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about users.
How to Submit a GDPR or UK GDPR Request
To make an applicable privacy request, email:
contact@voicefrequencytest.com
Please explain what you are requesting and provide enough information for us to understand the request.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or confirm that the request relates to your information.
We will aim to handle valid requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
In some cases, we may not hold information that can be linked back to you, or temporary tool data may already have been deleted.
California Privacy Rights
Where the CCPA, CPRA, or other applicable California privacy law applies to our processing, eligible California residents may have rights including the right to:
- know what categories of personal information are collected
- request access to certain personal information
- request correction of inaccurate personal information
- request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions
- opt out of certain sale or sharing
- receive equal service when exercising applicable privacy rights
The exact rights available depend on whether the law applies and on the type of processing involved.
